To apply for modelling for Guildford Life Drawing please send Email to GuildfordLifeDrawing@gmail.com with basic information, motivation and anything you think might be relevant for us to know. please attach photos that can be used for advertising the class. make sure its nice and tasteful. No explicit nudity, we use Instagram and Facebook to tell people about the class, so images have to fall within these guidelines.

We want you/the model to make up the poses. you can do any kind of poses based on your own background, you can do yoga, dance, action, acting, art, sculptures you like, just try to have fun and be creative, normally more dynamic poses for the short times, and more grounded poses for the long ones,

Do your best to be on time. Make sure that you are at the venue 5 minutes before the class starts. and are ready to pose on time.

The only thing you need to bring is a robe or some clothe you can put on for the break. when its break time or class ends please go over and put something on before you start talking with artist. don't walk around nude in the class it's not some weird nudist party. its not okay. please act professional.

Don't crawl up on chairs or do head stands unless you really know what you are doing. Don't put yourself in danger. It don't add a lot to the class and can create an uneasy feeling among the artist.

Always communicate the organiser if you feel cold or uncomfortable in. we can solve most issues. also if there is artist in the group who are acting inappropriate or makes you feel uncomfortable in anyway.

We use all kind of models and try our best to put together an interesting verity of models. We like to hire models back but understand that even the best most interesting models only get invited 4/5 times a year. We normally get two to tree emails a week from middle age white men age 35-65 with no special abilities, who would like to start modelling for life drawing. We are of curse also using these group of models a lot, but there is a bit of an over saturation in the market. so please understand we will probably not be able to offer you a spot.
